Achilles Tendonitis
Achilles tendonitis occurs when the Achilles tendon is overworked. This condition is common among runners, especially those who increase the duration or intensity of their runs.
Common symptoms of Achilles tendonitis include pain and aches above the heel or near the back of the leg. Typically, this pain worsens during and/or following physical activity.
