Andrew Curran, DO
Dr. Andrew Curran specializes in treating sports injuries to the shoulder and knee, using both physical therapy as well as minimally-invasive arthroscopic procedures. He has a particular interest in arthroscopic shoulder stabilizations (using the Bankart procedure), as well as the all-inside technique for anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) reconstructions of the knee.
Dr. Curran is a graduate of Nampa High School. He attended medical school in Illinois, graduating summa cum laude in 1994. His sports medicine fellowship was completed at the Harvard-affiliated New England Baptist Hospital with the Boston Celtics in 1999.
Dr. Curran has been practicing in the Treasure Valley for 16 years. He is a team physician for Boise State University and Skyview High School. Dr. Curran enjoys time in the outdoors doing a variety of activities, including skiing, mountain biking, and wakesurfing. He also likes to participate in medical mission work, and is a devoted husband and father of three.
