Biceps Tendonitis
Biceps tendonitis is a condition brought on by inflammation or irritation of the upper biceps tendon. Biceps tendonitis is most commonly the result of normal wear and tear of the biceps tendon, which happens gradually over time. This wear and tear damage weakens the tendons and worsens when repetitive shoulder motions are performed frequently.
Common symptoms of this condition include tenderness near the front of the shoulder, pain or aches that move down the upper arm bone, and/or periodic popping sounds or sensations in the shoulder.
