Cubital Tunnel Syndrome
Cubital tunnel syndrome is caused by increased pressure on the ulnar nerve, which is located near the surface of the skin around your elbow. The likelihood of developing cubital tunnel syndrome increases for those who lean on the elbow frequently or who lock the elbow in a bent position for long periods of time.
Symptoms include elbow pain and numbness, a tingling sensation or weakness in the fingers, decreased hand grip strength, and difficulty pinching the thumb and pinky finger together.
