Fractures
Most arm or elbow fractures are the result of a direct fall or forceful hit to the elbow. Oftentimes, there’s an audible snap at the time of injury. Visible deformities which arise when the bones shift out of place can also indicate a fracture or dislocated elbow joint.
Depending on the cause and severity of the injury, one may experience pain, bruising, stiffness, and swelling around the elbow.
