Meniscus Tears
Meniscus tears are among the most common cartilage injuries of the knee. A meniscus tear can happen suddenly, oftentimes during physical activity or sports that involve twisting or rotating the knee with extreme force. This injury can also happen gradually as a result of cartilage weakening.
In most cases, the symptoms associated with a meniscus tear include pain, swelling, stiffness, and a limited range of motion when moving the knee.
