Ruptured Triceps Tendon
Triceps tendon ruptures are the result of incidents that require large amounts of force and force the elbow to bend, such as weightlifting or contact sports.
Due to the amount of force, triceps tendon ruptures are much more traumatic than biceps tendon ruptures. Signs and symptoms of a rupture of the triceps include acute pain followed by difficulty extending the elbow.
